Steve’s career began in the aerospace industry where he gained the opportunity to develop and implement a quality management system for the provision of aerospace products and services to companies throughout Australia and Asia.
This opportunity provided great insight into the workings of a business and how decisions made by top management could shape the effectiveness of the business, productivity, quality of work being performed, and employee morale.
Being part of a global management team, he participated in the strategic planning of the company and gained even greater insight. Finally, it all clicked, and Steve was able to join the dots between good strategy, organisational performance and quality.
Steve firstly established a business assisting organisations with quality management and business improvement projects.
The experience fed into other industry sectors, as he extended his focus to include a range of strategic business improvement programs such as Total Cost Management and Competitive Benchmarking for large corporate organisations. Eventually this led to the establishment of Rightstrategy.
Steve is an Industry Accredited Strategic and Business Planning Coach providing services to the commercial and not-for-profit sectors as well as having experience in federally and Victorian Government funded business and coaching programs. He has also assisted many organisations to implement management systems to international standards leading to successful third-party certification. His work experience has included projects in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the United States.
